Adult Teen Segment 1 provides classroom instruction and 3 hours of behind-the-wheel training for adults 18 years and older.

Adults will receive classroom instruction (24 hours). Once the adult completes classroom instruction, they will schedule an appointment with the Secretary of State to obtain their Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP).

Once the TIP has been obtained, you will contact the driving school to schedule your driving lessons. The adult must present their TIP within 30 days of completing class and complete 3 hours of behind-the-wheel training within 60 days of completing the course. The entire process must be completed in 60 days. Otherwise, you will FORFEIT the 3 hours of behind the wheel training.
